1. Data collected and purposes
Contact form
Surname, first name, e-mail, phone number, requested tour date and places, number of participants and message. These data are used solely to answer your request and prepare a tour proposal. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request. Retention: 3 years after the last contact.
Online booking (Saint-Émilion tour)
Surname, first name, e-mail, phone number, booked date and time slot, number of people. These data are used to record, confirm and honour your booking. Legal basis: performance of the contract. Retention: 5 years for accounting and complaint-handling purposes.
Audience measurement
With your consent, anonymised traffic statistics (pages viewed, visit duration, device) are collected via Google Analytics to improve the site. Legal basis: consent. Retention: 14 months.
2. Recipients and transfers
Your data are intended for Bruno Saint-Clair only. They are hosted by Infomaniak (Geneva, Switzerland – a country recognised as adequate by the European Commission). Third-party tools used with your consent (Google Analytics, Google reviews, Facebook Messenger, YouTube videos) may transfer data outside the European Union, under standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. No data are sold or passed on.
3. Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Write to bruno@gentleguide.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
4. Cookies
A cookie is a small text file saved on your device when you visit the site. On your first visit, a banner lets you accept, refuse or customise non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time via the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page.
- Essential cookies (no consent required): site operation, remembering your cookie choice, security, booking in progress.
- Audience measurement cookies (with consent): Google Analytics, anonymised statistics.
- Third-party content and marketing cookies (with consent): Facebook Messenger, Google reviews, YouTube videos (loaded only on click, in privacy-enhanced mode).
Retention period: session cookies are deleted when the browser is closed; persistent cookies are kept for a maximum of 13 months. You can also set your browser to refuse or delete cookies: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
